What’s New with TJSSA?

TJSSA Meeting Board Update

At the June 1, 2020 TJSSA Board Zoom meeting, the Board discussed Director, Queen and Sweetheart elections. The TJSSA bylaws state that Director Elections will take place at the annual member meeting. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, both the Houston member meeting and the meeting at the State Futurity were cancelled.

Given that these meetings were cancelled and that current social distancing guidelines do not allow for large gatherings, the Board voted to extend the terms of the Board of Directors, Queen and Sweetheart for 1 year and resume the election schedule at the 2021 State Futurity scheduled June 9-12, 2021 at the Brazos Expo Center in Bryan, Texas.

The Covid-19 pandemic has created extenuating circumstances for our association this year and we appreciate the patience of our membership as we work through these unprecedented times.
Thank you for your patience and support of the TJSSA. Stay safe and stay well!
